So, he ordered two beers. They sat, chatted, and after a few sips, a beautiful young woman walked up to the bar, waved, and said cheerfully, \u201cHi, sweetie! Usual for tonight?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The wife\u2019s eyes widened. \u201cWho\u2019s that<\/em>?\u201d she asked, her tone icy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The husband smiled nervously. \u201cOh, that\u2019s Nancy \u2014 she\u2019s one of the regulars here.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Just then, the bartender leaned over and whispered, \u201cDon\u2019t worry, dear. He\u2019s harmless \u2014 he calls all of us \u2018sweetie.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The wife stared, took a slow sip of her beer, and said, \u201cWell, if he spends this much time here, I can see why.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The husband chuckled nervously.
