Something about my husband had changed, and I noticed it almost immediately.
He had developed an unusually strong odor that seemed impossible to ignore. At first, I assumed it was something simple—perhaps something he had eaten, a new soap or detergent, or just one of those unexplained changes that occasionally happens.
But after it continued, I suggested that he speak with a doctor.
Since he was a little embarrassed about the situation, I offered to go with him for support. We made an appointment with a urologist, hoping the doctor could help determine whether there was an underlying reason for the change.
When we arrived, my husband went into the examination room while I waited nearby.
