JOKE OF THE DAY: The Mysterious Napping Dog

An old, tired-looking dog wandered into a man’s yard. From his collar and well-fed belly, the man could tell he had a home and was well cared for.

The dog calmly walked up, wagging his tail. The man petted him kindly, and the dog followed him into the house, strolled down the hall, curled up in a corner, and fell fast asleep.

An hour later, the dog got up, went to the door, and waited to be let out. The man opened the door, and the dog trotted away.

The next day, the dog was back. Same thing — greeting, nap, and departure. This continued for several weeks, like clockwork.

Finally, the man became curious. He pinned a note to the dog’s collar that said:

“I’d like to know who owns this sweet dog, and if you’re aware he comes to my house every afternoon for a nap.”

The next day, the dog returned with a new note attached:

“He lives in a house with six kids — two under the age of three. He’s just trying to catch up on his sleep. Can I come with him tomorrow?” 😂
